IESNA Publishes Recommended Practice for Lighting for Hospitals and Health Care Facilities

RP-29-06 “IESNA Recommended Practice for Lighting for Hospitals and Health Care Facilities,” focus­es on lighting areas unique to acute care hospitals and extended care facilities. It encourages lighting designers to take into account both immediate objectives as well as lon­ger term services. Such building for adaptability should address both the patient’s and medical staff needs.  The publication is available from the IESNA bookstore at www.iesna.org
