Zumtobel LED Products Recognized as Winners of 2009 NGL Competition

We are pleased to announce that SLOTLIGHT LED and CAREENA™, two of their new LED products, have been recognized as winners in the “Indoor – General Illumination” category of the 2009 Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) Competition.

Jointly organized by the IESNA, the IALD, and the US DOE, the purpose of the NGL Competition is “to encourage technical innovation and recognize and promote excellence in the design of energy-efficient LED commercial lighting luminaires.” Entrants submit detailed product information, sample fixtures, LM testing, and other information and materials for consideration by the panel of judges, which is made up from a diverse representation of members of the architectural lighting design community, including those who specify, design, evaluate, research, and write about commercial SSL luminaires.
