Johnny Morgan

Johnny is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern University, where he obtained a B.A. in Finance. He has worked with two of the largest lighting manufacturers in the industry in various sales and product development roles. Additionally, he has instructed on a variety of lighting topics. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and has consistently proven to be an innovative technical resource. He specializes in problem resolution for large facilities and multi-location retail customers. Johnny actively participates in the development of products by working closely with clients and communicating their needs directly back to the manufacturer. His participation in this process keeps Bagby on the cutting edge of future developments and enables the company to offer the most relevant and innovative products to its valued clients. Johnny and his wife, Tammy, reside in South Charlotte with their children. Johnny likes to stay active and plays volleyball in the local Architectural league.

Jay Casabonne,
Principal Partner, Distributor & Contractor Sales
Jay graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Industrial Management. He has 24 years of experience in the Lighting and Electrical industries. After graduating from Georgia Tech, Jay began his career at Lithonia Lighting as a Marketing Trainee and grew with the company in a variety of roles. Throughout his tenure at Lithonia, Jay worked as a Quotations Manager, RELOC Product Specialist, Regional Sales Manager, Manager of Major Projects, National Accounts Manager, Director of Marketing (RELOC and Control Systems), and Strategic Distributor Account Manager, before settling in the position of Vice President of Regional Sales for the North Central Region and Western Region. His primary role at Bagby as a Principal Partner is leading Bagby’s efforts in the Customer Service and Project Management Areas - primarily servicing the needs of Electrical Contractors and Electrical Distributors. Jay has been married for 19 years and has two children.

Addison “Ad” Brown
Specification Sales Manager
Ad graduated from Emory & Henry College in 1980 with a B.S. in Business Administration and has been engaged in the electrical and lighting industries since 1982. Ad joined Bagby in 1988 to lead the specification sales team. He has extensive experience in the lighting of medical facilities, schools, commercial offices, sports and recreational facilities, retail establishments and residences. He routinely assists architects and engineers in selecting the best lighting method and product for each application and is available to assist with training and product presentations or to serve as a lighting resource during client meetings. Ad is an active member of the IES (Illuminating Engineering Society), and recipient of the IIDA Edwin F. Guth Award of Merit. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of his church and enjoys spending his free time with his wife of 26 years, Martha, and their three wonderful children.

Trey Adams
Architectural & Lighting Designer
Trey Adams attended undergrad at Appalachian State University and received his Master’s in Architecture from UNCC. He joined Bagby in 2001 as the in-house architectural consultant. Trey enjoys working with designers during the conceptual stage of a project to provide and maintain strong architectural continuity in the lighting scheme. He is actively involved in the AIA (American Institute of Architects) and the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council). Apart from lighting, Trey has a broad palate of interests which include golf, skeeball, music (especially bluegrass) cooking, travel, and a passion for the outdoors. Trey and his wife, Tara, reside in Charlotte along with their lovingly neurotic dog, Goliath, and uniquely polydactyl cat, Leo.

Tony Chea
Lighting Control and Power Specialist
With local and national legislation requiring the use of lighting controls on almost every new commercial building, the Bagby Company recognizes the demand for intelligent and integrated lighting controls system and design support. Prior to joining Bagby, Tony spent three years with Lithonia Lighting as a Technical Specialist managing the Target Corp. and Best Buy National Accounts for the RELOC division. He has over eight years of project management and design experience working on various lighting and power projects dealing with distribution, controls, telecommunications, and manufacturing. He has been manufacturer-trained and is ready to serve your lighting control and power needs in the areas of building automation, distributed controls, lighting control panels, occupancy sensors, dimming, day lighting control, remote transformers, power supply centers, central inverter systems, and modular wiring. Tony’s interests away from the office include playing tennis, volleyball, and Texas-Hold’em. He enjoys spending time with his wife Lea and his two young sons.

Robin Buckley
Account Manager
Robin, a veteran at Bagby, started with the company in 1981. Throughout his tenure with the company, Robin has performed in a variety of roles and is considered a “jack of all trades.” His seniority as an outside sales person has proven him an invaluable asset to the Bagby Team. His extensive product knowledge and experience enable him to find a solution for almost any of his customers’ needs. Robin works closely with contractors and distributors in Western North Carolina. His unique ability to forge meaningful and lasting relationships with key clients has gone a long way to helping Bagby grow over the past two decades.

Chris Woods
Account Manager
Chris joined the Sales Team at Bagby in 2006. Previous to joining Bagby, Chris worked in the Charlotte market as an electrical distributor for approximately seven years. He began focusing his attention on the lighting industry in 2005. As a key contributor to the Bagby Sales Team, Chris focuses on strengthening relationships within the electrical distributor and contractor fields. Specifically, he concentrates on the Charlotte area and surrounding markets. Chris resides in Charlotte with his wife and their two children.

Travis Doak
Operations Manager
Travis is a graduate of Indiana University with a B.A. in History. His lighting industry experience consists of 10 years with Lithonia Lighting in Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain. He joined Bagby in April 2006 as Operations Manager. Travis successfully manages the customer service team where he interacts both with his team and our customers on a daily basis. His product knowledge and problem solving skills help him to create a productive and efficient inside-sales environment. Travis constantly seeks to improve the customer’s experience with Bagby; he utilizes his training in Lean and Six Sigma to raise the bar in every aspect of customer service.

Ann Paden

Ann joined Bagby in 2006 as a Customer Advocate, focusing on managing and maintaining current National Accounts as well as acquiring new business. Prior to joining Bagby, she worked at a local distributor as a Project Manager and focused on inside sales for nine years. Ann is currently a student at Queens University and is working on obtaining a B.A. in Business Communications and Interior Design. Her co-workers have described her as “knowledgeable” about Bagby products and “dedicated” to her customers and her work.

Cynthia joined the Bagby Customer Service Team in 2008. She earned her degree from Georgia Southwestern College and has been in the lighting industry for over 32 years. Her experience includes both customer service and quotes. In 2007, she relocated to Charlotte after 20 years in Orlando, FL. When she is not working she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and four grandchildren.

Stephen Lineberry
Quotations
Stephen has a Business degree from UNC Charlotte, and worked with an electrical distributor prior to joining Bagby. Stephen has been with Bagby since 1998, when he started with the company as an inside sales representative. Most recently, he transitioned to the Quotations Team where he uses his product knowledge and excellent customer service skills to manage small projects and provide daily quotes. He and his wife, Vickey, have three children.
